       But God didn’t stop on Day Six with the creation of the land animals. The Bible also tells us that God created a man and a woman on the sixth day. We read, continuing in the passage: “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Continuing on Day Six, first God created a man. Now, man was created superior to the rest of the creation, and not equal to the rest of the creation. Men and women are superior beings. Now, God gave mankind dominion, and he did this “over” all of the created plants and animals. That is why—in this day and age—man is able to eat animal. Animal should not freely eat man, but man can freely eat animal. Men and women can have farms whereby they raise animals. They can tame animals for their own purposes, like we have domesticated dogs and cats. They can breed animals for their purposes.
