       Therefore, there is no peace for those who die without knowing Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus said in Matthew 7: ““Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (13, 14, ESV). So, he noted that “many” are those who will actually go to hell―the pathway “to destruction.” This is yet all to more reason to make sure today, if you're not a Christian, that you believe in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins―that you are in right standing with God. King David noted in Psalm 32: “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit” (1, 2, ESV). This is our true peace with God―when we know our sins are forgiven and we are not seeking to do wrong.
