Don’t brush this of as a sinful theory on the power of positive thinking. The only sin that’s really going on here is the fact you just brushed it off in your unbelief. If you want to brush it off, go for it, and have a miserable life. The rest of us will have good, faith-filled, positive lives. If you stop and think about it, you know how you currently think isn’t working. Things never get better for you; they're always the same boring, mundane, powerless way. So, leave the dark side and come to the faith-filled side, and watch your life change. It’s not just for Charismatics, but it’s for Evangelicals also. Paul said, “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” This is because, as we’ve been saying, one who is alive without being regenerated, one who has not accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, is not in personal relationship with God. Since he or she has not been transformed, he or she is not indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
