And sometimes Satan can even capture the heart of a believer to work against another believer. He can capture the believer’s heart through sin—things like jealously, a faultfinding attitude, and the like—so that the person feels justified in attacking another believer when that believer hasn’t done anything wrong. Like, for instance, in regard to this, I’ve heard from a couple different sources lately that the Gospel ministries that truly matter, the ones that really have an impact on others, are those which work in one-on-one relationships, and that ministries that don’t do this aren’t as affective for the Gospel. Well, surely God disagrees since he often uses ministries on a grand scale that don’t involve one-on-one relationships. Let me provide a basic example of how this argument isn’t true. Personally, I don’t know John MacArthur. I’ve never met the man. He doesn’t know I exist. Yet his life through his ministry has had more of an impact on my life than any relational ministry ever has, period.
