       But here in the future, the Heavenly Temple, of which the Jewish earthly Temple represented, will be opened permanently, and we see the real Ark of the Covenant here in the midst of the Temple. The ark that was used on earth was the copy of the real one which is in Heaven. Do you remember? God told the Israelites how to design it. Regardless, the significance here is that with the Holy of Holies opened, that means that all believers in Heaven will get to experience God’s presence forever. We will be in his presence on a permanent basis, which is truly awesome, and we will be surrounded by his love forever. We enter everlasting fellowship with him. Now, “the flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail” represent God’s powerfulness, awesomeness, and majesty. Christ is King, and he is going to rule on the renovated earth for the Millennial Kingdom, and in the new Heaven and new earth, forever.
